In “Challenges Ahead for China”(See article), a feature story published on August 20, 2008 on Animation World Network (AWN), BeTop Multimedia enjoyed a high-profile coverage. A still of “Kaimana the Shark Princess”, a piece of 3D work by BeTop, was selected as the title image. Prior to writing this story, Karen Raugust, the author, interviewed BeTop Multimedia, as well as other companies and individuals involved in the Chinese animation industry, including Jan Nagel, Kevin Geiger, and Heather Kenyon. On behalf of BeTop, Isaac Wu, International Account Manager, elaborated on the company’s insights into the “exhilarating chaotic” animation industry of China, envisaging a brighter future of Chinese animation companies in the longer term.
